They didn't just get the highest SHU chilli and say its the hottest, but they actually measured the mean and average ratings and the Moruga Scorpion came in on average at 1.2 million and the highest being 2 million SHU's. This is the hottest a chilli has ever rated! I'm sure they will be entering it into Guinness World Records soon.
