Description
These are Aji Limon Chilli seeds of the capsicum baccatum variety. There are actually two different chilli plants which often get mixed up. They can variously be called Aji Limon, Aji Limo, Aji Lemon, Hot Lemon or Lemon Drop! Although these seeds are c. baccatum , there is also a c. chinense variety, which is hotter.
The chilli plant produces many bright yellow pods which have a medium heat level, and a delicious citrus flavour. They are used in traditional Peru cooking.
