Description
The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion (c. chinense) is so-called because it originated in the village of Moruga in Trinidad and Tobago. It was judged to be the hottest chilli in the world in 2012, albeit very briefly. It had an average of 1.2 million SHUs, and a peak at 2 million SHUs! This is the original red variety, although it is also available in chocolate and yellow.
